As a Birth Doula, I support the whole family and help the birthing parent with relaxation, soothing touch, positioning, and other techniques for comfort.

• Free Meet n Greet

• 2 Prenatal meetings

  During our virtual prenatal meeting starting at 32 weeks, my main goal is to get to know you and your support person; discuss what are your preferences for your birth experience; how I can best support your family get prepared for this special moment. Our 2nd meeting will be in-person to further discuss postpartum recovery, newborn care, product ideas, house setup, and more.

• Unlimited phone and e-mail support

  Support through phone and e-mail anytime you need more information or encouragement words, I’m here for you.

• On-call 24/7 - 2 weeks before the expected due date - until the baby is born

  Being on call means my phone will be on and I’ll be close by, ready to go to your home or birthing place whenever labor starts.

• Labor support

  Once labor starts, I’ll provide comfort, support, and encouragement; involve your support person and other people in the room as you wish; make sure you are confident to make medical decisions and help facilitate communication with the medical team.

• 1 Post birth visit + text communication

  The focus of our postpartum visit will be making sure the birthing parent is recovering well, the baby is thriving as expected and other caregivers are doing ok. We can debrief the birth experience and I can provide referrals and additional information as well.

  Families receive extra resources: books to prepare about ‘Newborn Care’, ‘Preparing for Birth’ and ‘Breastfeeding your baby’ - if that is the preferred feeding choice. They are wonderful for reference during pregnancy and postpartum, published by Plumtree Baby.
